Nectar Recipe: Bring to a Boil 2 Cups of water with ½ cup of sugar. You may add a few drops of red food coloring to your nectar. Allow to cool. Refrigerate. 

Humming bird feeder tips: Always keep your feeder clean.  If nectar becomes cloudy clean and replace nectar.  Keep out of direct sunlight.  To keep ants and Bugs out of your feeder. The thing that has worked the best for me so far is.....place it near flowers until a hummingbird finds the feeder. It will usually be just one bird they are very territorial move it to a different location when you fill it ( I have a few screws in my fence around the yard) it always takes the ants awhile to find it! 

Soda Bottle Cleaning tip: Place a handful of rice in the bottle with a 1/2 cup of water and shake.  This will easily clean the inside of your bottle.  Rinse and replace nectar.  Enjoy
